New call: Cryptocurrencies, the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies

NEMODE is now coming to the end of its funded phase of activity and has been tasked with focusing the final 6 months on research in Cryptocurrencies, the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) more generally. This builds on the Chancellor’s budget announcement of £10m funding for research in this area. The Government Office for Science has also commissioned a report on DLTs which should be available from October.

We still have funding available for small grants and workshops for projects to be completed by March 31st 2016, and are very keen to hear of colleagues interested in developing activities in this research space. Queries should be addressed to Richard Adams (r.adams@surrey.ac.uk).
